Membership FAQs
Why is there a 12-month minimum membership term?
Membership is designed to support continuity and proactive care over time. A 12-month period allows meaningful follow-up, oversight, and relationship-based care rather than one-off use.
Can I review whether membership is right for me after joining?
Yes. Many patients use the first few months to ensure membership suits their needs. The clinic team is always happy to review how you are using your membership and whether it continues to feel appropriate.
What does ‘priority booking’ mean?
Priority booking means members are offered earlier access to routine appointments where availability allows, particularly during busy periods. It does not guarantee appointments on demand.
Does priority access apply to urgent or emergency issues?
No. Urgent or emergency concerns should always be directed to NHS services such as 111, 999, or A&E.
What is a ‘comprehensive blood panel’?
A comprehensive blood panel is a broader set of blood tests designed to assess areas such as hormones, metabolic health, cardiovascular risk, and nutritional status, where clinically appropriate.
Do I have to use the blood tests included in my membership?
No. All testing is guided by clinical need and discussed with you first. Included tests can be adapted or deferred if not clinically relevant.
What do member discounts on blood tests apply to?
Member discounts apply to additional laboratory blood tests not already included within your membership.
What is clinician email advice for?
Email advice is for non-urgent follow-up questions, clarification of treatment plans, or guidance related to ongoing care.
What is not suitable for clinician email advice?
New symptoms requiring assessment, urgent concerns, or emergencies. In these cases, you may be advised to book an appointment or contact NHS services.
When can I expect a response to an email?
Email advice is provided during working hours. Response times may vary depending on clinical workload.
Why do members receive discounts on services?
Member benefits reflect an ongoing relationship with the clinic and provide better value for patients who access services regularly.
Which services do member discounts apply to?
Depending on membership level, discounts apply to additional GP appointments, dermatology consultations, minor procedures, blood tests, and aesthetic treatments. Dermal filler product costs are excluded where stated.
Can member discounts be combined with other offers?
No. Member discounts cannot be used alongside other promotions unless explicitly stated.
What is included in the annual comprehensive health and skin review?
This is a clinician-led review of your overall health and skin health, designed to support preventative care and early identification of issues.
How do family memberships work?
Family memberships provide pooled appointments that can be used by named family members within the same household, where clinically appropriate.
What types of children’s appointments are suitable under family membership?
Examples include minor illnesses, skin concerns, recurrent infections, and general health queries. Emergency care should always be accessed via NHS services.
Why are aesthetic treatments included as a member benefit?
Some patients value having medical and aesthetic care overseen within the same clinic. Membership provides preferential pricing while maintaining appropriate clinical standards.
Are aesthetic treatments included automatically?
No. Treatments are optional, paid separately, and provided only where clinically appropriate. Membership provides access and preferential pricing, not entitlement.
